Overview

We are excited to share that our team has three papers accepted to CHI 2026: one main conference paper and two poster papers. These works reflect our continued efforts to build sensing and interaction techniques that connect human behavior, affect, and everyday input with intelligent interactive systems.

Accepted Papers

RageSense

RageSense has been accepted as a main conference paper at CHI 2026. This work investigates how interactive systems can sense and understand rage-related affective states, contributing to our broader research agenda on affective computing, multimodal sensing, and human-centered AI.

Touch Through Sound

Touch Through Sound has been accepted as a poster paper at CHI 2026. This project explores how acoustic sensing can support touch interaction, expanding the design space for lightweight, device-based, and context-aware interaction techniques.

Emo-Type-Zero

Emo-Type-Zero has been accepted as a poster paper at CHI 2026. This work studies emotion-aware text entry and interaction, asking how subtle behavioral signals around typing can help future systems better understand and respond to users’ emotional states.

Looking Ahead

We look forward to presenting these projects at CHI 2026 and discussing them with the HCI community. More details, including final paper links and presentation information, will be added soon.

EmoType-Zero: Adaptive Fonts to Render the Speech Emotion

RageSense: Leveraging Acoustic Sensing and LLM-Based Intervention for Emotion Regulation in Mobile Gaming

Touch Through Sound: Ring-Mounted Auditory Pseudo-Haptics for Material Perception
